You might have heard of PCB assembly
services, but might not have any idea about this term exactly. Let’s
make things simple for you to understand.
The entire procedure of manufacturing
electrical devices is quite complicated and even time consuming. Materials play
an important part in electrical manufacturing. These include silicon or other
semi-conductors. By following numerous expensive and long clean room
procedures, wafers are successfully converted into electronic chips and
microprocessors. These chips are unable to carry out any job on their own. They
are required to be integrated into PCB for carrying out activities like operating
the phone or the computer.
There are many companies that deal in designing
such chips but all these companies do not have the capability of buying all the
tools needed for assembling the chips on to the PCBs for devising end-products.
This job is carried out by the PCB
assembly companies. Such companies possess many Surface Mount Assembly
lines with services in the field of assembling PCB.
PCB assembling and fabrication companies offer
their services to various companies who do not have any interest in carrying
out such activities themselves.
The PCB Fabrication
Procedure
The PCB
fabrication procedure consists
of a large number of processes and they are as follows:
· Printing Solder Paste: This is the procedure during which
the initial solder paste is successfully printed onto the printed circuit board
by making use of a stencil.
· Pick and Place Assembly of SMT: This serves as the heart of the
PCB line. The procedure takes different individual chips and places them
accurately at the right positions on the circuit board.
· Through-Hole or Reflow Curing: Post placing the different chips
on the solder paste, the circuit board goes through a kind of conveyor oven for
melting the solder and binding the chips onto the PCB.
There
are many other small steps carried out in fabricating a circuit board. Shax
Engineering is one of the specialist manufacturers of different types of
assembly fields for printed circuit boards.
What a fantabulous post this has been. Never seen this kind of useful post. I am grateful to you and expect more number of posts like these. Thank you very much.
